About the artist

Having studied graphic design at Middlesex Polytechnic, Jason Keeley joined the world’s leading broadcast brand design agency, London based Lambie-Nairn and moved into freelance design and direction. Jason Keeley has designed and directed idents, branding sequences and titles for, amongst others, the BBC, Discovery Channel, Disney, BT, FIFA, The History Channel, UKTV, TV2, NOS, LCI, SF1 and Carlton. Some of the most notable of these being BBC One’s Hot Air Balloon, BBC Four’s real-time channel identity and UKTV Style Gardens’ beautiful and inventive horticultural characters. Most recently, Jason designed and directed the title sequences for the flagship BBC News brand that is broadcast across the globe. All of the above designs have been recognised internationally, with prestigious industry awards including D&AD Silver, Promax Gold’s (US and UK) & Royal Television Society Gold.
Jason's almost unique combination of a graphic designer’s eye with the heart of a film maker creates outstanding and attention grabbing sequences and imagery. He has further explored this creative collaboration, developing a unique style of figurative artworks. These artworks have been inspired by dance, the human form and by the pop artists of the 60’s, particularly Bridget Riley. In order to offer a ‘human’ variation from print to print, Jason’s images have been realised as limited edition silkscreen prints. His work has been exhibited at the London Art Fair, Royal College of Art and most recently at BITE at the Mall Galleries. In addition, Linley’s of Mayfair have used Jason’s artworks for several of their exceptional interior design projects.
