About the artist


Joyful and uplifting, Trudie Moulton's paintings portray an active vitality and the expression of spirit. Her tendency towards intense expressive colour is influenced by the light and space of California where she lived for 14 years, and the wilds of the Land’s End peninsula in Cornwall where she currently lives and works.

Trudy draws inspiration from her travels, both inner and outer, and sees her work as inner landscapes or dreamscapes. Working from a meditative state of action, Trudy uses the energy of gesture and expressive possibilities of paint to convey what is, so often, inaccessible via words.
