About the artist

+
Robert Clarke graduated from the London College of Printing in 2000, before studying for his MA at the Royal College of Art. It was at the RCA that he discovered screen printing and he immersed himself in both the techniques of the medium as well as the creative opportunities it presented.

Leaving the RCA in 2004, Robert Clarke spent the next six years designing while simultaneously putting together his own screen print studio. He continually fine-tuned his printing skills and now dedicates time to his true passion - screenprinting.

Among Robert’s iconic images is a series of four striking prints of the Beatles. These bold, colourful works play on distinctive themes specific to the individual members of the Beatles, and depict John, Paul, George and Ringo in concentrated graphic style with a strong contemporary slant.
