The Affordable Art Fair in Battersea is fast approaching and we’re delighted to be returning for our 6th year! We’ll be showing enticing paintings by Hatty Butler, Jane Emberson, Plum Neasmith and Jonathan Barber, bold new prints from Paul Minott and Rebecca King, and new to our Battersea portfolio are the dark, playful etchings of Jaco Putker.

Bath is a thriving city for the arts and there is no bigger advocate for that than Bath Life magazine! A big thanks to Bath Life for the support they have shown by selecting our artists' impactful works to adorn front covers or Arts pages. 

This summer we are joining forces with the wonderful Rostra Gallery for a one-of-a-kind gallery partnership. We will be showcasing a distinctive, co-curated collection of contemporary artworks from both galleries artists at The Gainsborough Bath Spa Hotel for one weekend only in July.

Earlier this year we were delighted to be asked to source some artworks for a stunning home in Bruton, Somerset which has subsequently been featured in the July 2019 issue of Homes & Gardens...

We’re excited to be gearing up for our next Open House pop-up in Limpley Stoke, near Bath, taking place on 8th – 9th June. The Open House will feature a carefully curated selection of works by artists including Maria Rivans, Bonnie and Clyde, Victoria Topping, Paul Minott, Paul Bennett, Rod Craig and Jane Emberson amongst many more.

Following his showcase in the Jerwood Drawing Prize 2017 exhibition in Bath in March 2018, we met with Alexander Johnson to learn more about his life as an artist, the evolution of his work into abstract form and his aversion to the slick digital images that encroach on modern-day life.

It’s time for a show! We’ll be heading into central Bath for our fresh Spring pop-up from 17th – 31st March. As usual, we’ll be showcasing paintings and prints by our exceptional artists at 23 Milsom Place, Bath.

The art scene across the South is flourishing and 2019 is shaping up to be a sensational year for art lovers with plenty of exciting exhibitions throughout the year in some wonderful spaces. And, of course, there will be some iconic works on show in London for those venturing into the capital city! Here is our must-see list for creative inspiration for the year ahead.

As we start to enjoy crisp autumnal days and cosy evenings (and the festive season inches nearer!) we’re turning our attention to our winter Open House where a handpicked selection of contemporary artworks will be on show alongside elegant, handmade furniture from local craftsman Charlie Caffyn and beautiful jewellery from Aga Cook.

We will be winging our way back to the beautiful Battersea Park for the Autumn edition of the Affordable Art Fair in October with a carefully curated edit of works from our wonderful artists including works on paper, limited edition prints, mixed media works and contemporary paintings.
