News, events and musings

We will be winging our way back to the beautiful Battersea Park for the Autumn edition of the Affordable Art Fair in October with a carefully curated edit of works from our wonderful artists including works on paper, limited edition prints, mixed media works and contemporary paintings.

We will be showing a selection of inspirational new works including bold splashes of colour from Jane Emberson’s paintings, graphic monoprints by Paul Minott, Plum Neasmith’s striking, abstract paintings, urban-abstract limited edition prints by Rebecca King, Jonathan Barber’s atmospheric, abstracted mixed-media works, unique burnt-paper works by Kelly O’Brien and Hatty Butler’s emotive portraits.

We’re especially thrilled that a handful of our artists’ works have already been singled out by the fair’s organisers! Kelly O’Brien’s distinctive works on paper ‘Playing with Fire’ and Paul Minott’s experimental prints were chosen by the Fair’s new Director, Lucinda Costello, as some of the top picks of the fair. In addition, Hatty Butler’s brilliant ‘Pink is for me too’ portrait will be used as part of the fair’s family pack given out to younger visitors, and as the basis for a children’s workshop exploring the fair’s theme of preconceptions of femininity, masculinity, identity and strength in vulnerability.

As always, we have a limited number of free tickets to give away, so please drop us an email if you’d like to come along. We’d love to see you and look forward to catching up with many of our art fair regulars, who make our time there so enjoyable!
